LITTLE MAMA

"Its My Half Birthday!!"

My baby girl is 6 months old today and it's her half birthday!

If anyone knows me they know I celebrate my half birthday which is August 21st ;)! So of course I want to make it a tradition with my daughter.

Life is crazy my husbands been on nights and I barely see him in the morning but this is his last week and I could not be more excited to have him back home with us!

Ari is growing and changing everyday and is full of personality!

We went to take her 6 month photos last weekend and it was the first time she cried like that the whole entire photo shoot :( you can plan the outfits and accessories to a T but you cant plan the outcome, oh well I am sure we got at least 1 good one! :) I did take some at home the next day and she was back to her normal smiling self, oh baby!

Facts about Miss Ari Chanel

-She is sitting up and rolling over

- I swear she said mom last weekend all day long

-She is wearing 6-12 months in clothing

-Ari is not a fan of laying down anymore she has to be propped up somehow :)

-Her first really taste of food was bananas! She made the funniest face but kept eating it. I tried sweet potatoes on another day and she LOVED it I think that’s her favorite so far, she even tried grabbing the whole jar! ;)

-She pulls her self up out of the car seat – even when I am driving I can see her lifting her head up trying to move and get out

-She is sleeping in the bed with me which makes it easier and helps her sleep through the night which helps

-She loves the camera and our mini photo shoot sessions at home
-Lately she's been feeling my face with her hand she'll rub her hand up and down and around almost to familiarize herself with me, I love watching her face while she does it she just smiles and looks so intrigued
-Did I mention she hates blankets anytime we cover her she pushes it off, she's been like this since she was born - silly baby!

I love you Ari, Happy Half Birthday and many more to come!

Love,

Mommy & Daddy

5 Months Already!

I love my Mom & Dad so much they kiss me all the time and my Mom takes a zillion photos everyday. I am so loved! ~ Ari Chanel

Where has the time gone! I am so exhausted working full time and being a full time mom is a lot but I love her so much I will do whatever I have to do for my little babe. I also started a baby clothing line and party banners this month which is so exciting but scary at the same time. I have already put in a lot of time love and money into this and I really hope something great comes of it! If you have a chance check it out: www.etsy.com/shop/banezco & Instagram @banez_co :) I do custom orders as well!

Anyways back to my babe! Here are some facts about Ari:

-She has both her bottom teeth now and they are soon cute!!

-She is days away from sitting up on her own, she hates laying down with a passion unless its time for bed or nap time.

-She is laughing now which is amazing and the best sound I have ever heard!

-First thing she does when she wakes up is smile and stretch out her whole body, its the best.

-She loves to splash in the bathtub.

-She loves cuddling when its time for bed.

-Her favorite songs are: Thinking Out Loud, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, & Taylor Swift songs

-She loves to see whats going on and being held.

-She just started playing in her bouncer all by herself and loves it!

-She always has a smile on her face.

Ari is the best baby we are so blessed she is so happy healthy and beautiful!

My little Darling is officially 4 Months old and so much fun. We love her more and more everyday which I didn't even think was possible! This month so much has changed firstly I went back to work which I am so sad about I wish I could be with her all day but like most moms these days it's not an option at the moment. Luckily our good friend is watching her which puts me at ease because I know she's in great hands. My days are long and nights longer but she makes it worth it just seeing her face when I pick her up.

Whats New With Ari:

• She has found her feet and holds on to them aka baby yoga ;)
• I just saw that she is getting her first tooth!! I was so excited I called my mom and Ryan right away lol. I also took a photo of it but it was hard since she kept pushing her tongue out.:)
• She laughed for the first time the other day like a legit laugh it was the best sound like music to my ears I am definitely looking forward to hearing it more in the coming months.
• She is trying with all her might to sit up we call it doing baby crunches working on her abs haha.
• Oh and she can grab on to stuff now like her rattle and other toys its so crazy how much she developed from month 3 to 4 I can only imagine how much more she will progress next month!
• My sister got us a bouncer for Christmas and she is just starting to use it not bouncing yet but sitting up and playing with the toys in it.
• Oh and did I mention she LOVES to pull my hair! Haha we're working on that one still.
• Her hair has thinned out except the back bottom which is longer than the rest its kind of like a baby mullet lol :)
• Her hands are in her mouth a lot now and it makes sense since I found that tooth she must be teething.
• This one has so much personality and just smiles every time she sees me and it melts my heart she's such an angel.

Here are a few photos from our Christmas.

Ari is officially 3 months old today!

She is such a beautiful little girl with so much personality! She is baby talking all the time and loves to be awake and be involved. She would much rather stand then lay down. She has discovered her hands and is very fascinated by them and currently has them in her mouth as I type this. I am always singing to her and she loves it by far my biggest fan. I believe she is getting the concept of night and day. She sleeps longer at night but I am still waking up every 3-4 hours which isn't that bad anymore. That is probably one thing I didn't realize when I had her that I would never sleep again, lol oh well its totally worth it when she glances over at me at 3 am with that smile on her face because she wants to play. Lets see what else... oh her eyelashes have gotten so long and they have a natural curl which I adore. She is just the best thing ever and I am beyond sad to be going back to work officially at the beginning of January. My main plan is try and come up with something that I can do from home I just truly don't want to miss these precious moments with her.
